Update on UK National Exhibitions
Northern National Exhibition, York – 20-21 July 2018 – York Racecourse Grandstand
The Northern National Exhibition will have 150 frames and is open to all classes shown in the rules. The rules and application procedure are at:

Autumn Stampex 2018 – 12-15 September 2018 – Business Design Centre, Islington, London N1
Full National Exhibition with applications invited from exhibitors in the UK and other countries. The American Philatelic Society will be special guest with around 200 frames. The Forces Postal History Society and Civil Censorship Society will also provide displays to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War.
Exhibits can be entered competitively or non-competitively in all classes shown in the rules including literature.
This will be a further opportunity to qualify for London 2020. The rules and application procedures will be available from 4 April 2018 at:

Spring Stampex 2019 – 13-16 February 2019 – Business Design Centre, Islington, London N1
Full National Exhibition with applications invited from exhibitors in the UK and other countries. The Royal Philatelic Society London will be the lead contributor with a display on the theme of ‘King George V’ to mark its 150th anniversary.
This will also be the final opportunity in the UK to qualify for London 2020. The rules and application procedure will be published on the ABPS website in August 2018.

Full National Exhibition with applications invited from exhibitors in the UK and other countries. Plans are being made for a special display on Indian philately. Further details will follow.

ITALIA – 2018 – 23-25 November 2018
National Exhibition in Verona with international participation in two areas.
1 History of the Great War – An on-line exhibition open to exhibitors around the world. The exhibition will include the following classes – traditional philately, thematic, interophilos, maximafilia, postal history – and exhibits are invited that are between 5 and 10 frames, each of 12 sheets.
2 Literature – Open to any work of philatelic literature: books, catalogues, magazines, journals, websites, software, audiovisuals. Only one copy of each entry will need to be supplied.
All judging will be done electronically. Applications can be made directly to the Organisers through the exhibition website and there is no UK Commissioner. Regulations and electronic application forms for each section of the exhibition are available at www.italia2018.eu

LONDON 2020 – 2 – 9 May 2020

World stamp exhibition with provisional FIP patronage. Competitive classes in Traditional Philately, Postal History, Revenues, Postal Stationery, Aerophilately, Thematic Philately, Open Philately, Philatelic Literature and Youth Philately. To enable as many exhibitors as possible to be accepted, the frames will be used twice during the week with exhibits being swapped on the evening of Tuesday 5 May.
